Southern California Concerts Benefit Local Charitable Groups

Going to an event staged by Golden Crown Productions means listening to great music and helping a charitable organization.

Golden Crown Productions is based in the southern Californian town of Temecula. In the past, it has produced concerts featuring big-name musical talent such as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Blues Traveler, The English Beat, The Gin Blossoms, Kris Kristofferson, and Los Lobos. Most of the concerts have been held at one of two wineries in Temecula -- Wiens Family Cellar or Wilson Creek Winery.

The concerts are mostly for the benefit of five local charitable groups. They are Hospice of the Valleys, California Family Life Center, The Unforgettables Foundation, Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation, and All From the Heart. Hospice of the Valleys helps people with life-threatening illnesses and their families. California Family Life Center helps youths who have behavioral and emotional issues because of past traumas. The Unforgettables Foundation provides aid to families recently traumatized by a child's death. The Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation helps students from low-income families attend college. All From the Heart supports American soldiers.

This year’s concerts include a May 7 performance by the famous rock band Great White at Wiens Family Cellar that will raise money for Mt. Jacinto College Foundation and a June 3 event at the cellar called "Ladies of the 80s" that will feature performances by The Motels, Missing Persons, and Anabella's Bow Wow Wow and will raise money for Hospice of the Valleys.

Purplepass is selling tickets to the Great White concert at this website and tickets to the "Ladies of the 80s" event at this website.
