Beautiful Balloons Are A Sight To Behold At Arizona Festival

Words can only partly describe how awe-inspiring the Cave Creek Balloon Festival in Cave Creek, Ariz., is. People who want a full sense of what the festival is about should look at photos of past festivals and envision how wonderstruck they'll feel if they’re standing next to the balloons.

The seventh annual Cave Creek Balloon Festival will be on May 28 on the Rancho Manana Golf Course. It’s a sight to behold. The festival begins in the late afternoon. Visitors won’t see any balloons at that time. Instead, they will watch as balloons are inflated while they’re a few feet away or under the canopy.

"As the sun begins to set, the massive balloons are laid out and begin to be inflated with a fury of gas and fire," Eric Flatt, the festival's co-owner, told The Arizona Republic newspaper. "One by one, these giants come to life and glow in the night sky. They will glow for about an hour and a half as guests meander under their glowing canopy."
The Cave Creek Balloon Festival also includes fireworks, live music, food and beverages, and a children’s play area. You can order tickets to the festival via this PurplePass website.
