Support For PayPal Added (2013)

PayPal Integration

We are pleased to announce that you can now use PayPal to accept payments from customers. By using your own PayPal account, you can get paid as tickets are sold rather than waiting until after your event. The way it works is simple - When it comes time to pay for the tickets, your customers are redirect to your PayPal account. After they pay, they are sent back to Purplepass to receive their tickets.

To link your PayPal account to Purplepass, simply log into your account, go to the Settings page then click "Merchant Account" on the left. Choose the option to use PayPal and then enter your email address. You are given the option to enter the fees that PayPal charges you so they can be calculated into the Purplepass service fee and passed on to the customer. Of course, this is optional. If you need any assistance, please let us know at support@purplepass.com Improved Will Call Now when purchasing tickets, customers have the option to set the name of the person that will be picking up the tickets. This greatly simplifies the will call process since there will no longer be confusion when someone buys tickets for someone else as a gift. So now whatever name the customer puts as the ticket holder will appear on the will call list. Duplicate an Event If you are doing another event that is similar to one that has already passed, now you can simply copy it over to a new event. There is a new "Copy" link next to each event located on the "My Events" page. When you click Copy, you will be taken to the Create New Event page but with all the information filled out already from the previous event. Make any necessary adjustments and then post. It couldn't be easier!
